UD sophomore dies in accidental drowning

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The College of Dayton group is in mourning after a sophomore by accident drowned late final week.

Luke Skotzke, 20, was swimming close to his hometown of Chardon Thursday when he died.

Skotzke was a mechanical engineering main at UD.

The college has arrange a memorial for him on the Chapel of Immaculate Conception. College students, school and different members of the group are welcome to mild a candle or supply a prayer for him.

Funeral companies are at the moment unannounced, however will probably be posted to Porches.

A fuller memorial will happen this fall as soon as college students and school return to campus.

The college reminds college students and school that counseling is on the market on campus.
