DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A person is dead after a single-vehicle crash in Wayne County, Indiana.
Wayne County Emergency Communications stated the crash occurred on Interstate 70, on the 149-mile marker, at roughly 8:53 p.m.
Deputies on the scene discovered a 2007 Toyota Corolla hit the cable barrier system in the median.
The driving force, a person from Greens Fork, Indiana, was declared deceased on the scene. Roads had been shut down for roughly three hours as crime scene crews processed the scene.
“The household and family members of [the deceased] are in our ideas and prayers throughout this troublesome time,” stated Sheriff Randy Retter. “We lengthen our deepest condolences to these affected by this tragic loss.”
