Kohl's permanently closing Monroe distribution center

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A retail distribution facility within the Miami Valley is shutting down in September.

The Kohl’s Digital Achievement Center, situated within the 3500 block of Salzman Highway in Monroe, is ending operations in September, in response to the corporate.

“Lately, Kohl’s has elevated efficiencies with new know-how capabilities at newer E-commerce Achievement Facilities (EFCs) and expanded our skill to satisfy buyer orders from retailer areas – permitting us to keep up our skill to satisfy orders with out the Monroe facility,” stated Kohls.

The retail big confirmed to WDTN.com that each one staff on the facility have been notified of the announcement.

Staff will reportedly have the choice to both take a severance bundle or apply for one more position throughout the firm.
